Located in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. Eaglenest is Jewel of Indian birding within an area of 217 sq km. The altitude range of Eaglenest varies from 500 m to 3300 m. The range of elevation makes this place an extra ordinary place for birding. Eaglenest comprises a diverse habitat of great altitudinal range of semi-evergreen forest and tropical wet evergreen forest. The birding in Eaglenest is not demanding. The unpaved road connects the whole sanctuary which makes it good excess to the entire altitudinal range.

Few Important birds of Eaglenest are; Bugun liocichla, Ward's Trogon, Beautiful Nuthatch, Barwing, 7 species of Wren Babblers, 4 species of Shortwings, Rufous-necked Hornbill, Sikkim Wedge-billed Babbler, 3 species Trogopan's, many species of Laughing Thrush, Great/ Lesser Rufous-headed Parrotbill. Nameri National Park situated on the left bank of Jia-Bhoraeli River in Assam bordering with Pakke Wildlife sanctuary & Tiger Reserve of Arunachal Pradesh. The national park is located in the foothills eastern Himalayas and is a paradise of bird lovers with more than 300 species of birds found in the area. Which 35 kms from Tezpur. Nameri has got total area of 200 sq kms. Nameri was declared as forest reserve in 1978 and is a very important part of birding tourist of around the world.

Few notable species of birds are ; White winged wood duck, Common Merganser, Great Pied Hornbill, Wreathed Hornbill, Kalij Pheasant, Rufous Necked Hornbill, Ibis Bill, Large Whistling Teal, , King Vulture, Long-billed Ringed Plovers, Hill Myna, Black Stork, Pin-tailed green Pigeon, Himalayan Pied Kingfisher, Three Toed kingfisher or Oriental dwarf kingfisher, Fairly Blue Bird etc.

Arrival at Guwahati airport or train station, meet our rep & driver, drive for 4-5 hrs to Nameri. Check in resort , have your lunch . Evening birding in surroundings of Resort. O/N resort.

Early morning take boat ride across the Jia Bhoraeli river , have morning birding session at Nameri. Later have breakfast at resort & proceed towards Arunachal. after your arunachal entry formalities. drive through Sessa orchid sanctuary . Birding along the route. Early evening check in Lama camp. Early morning start birding around lama camp, looking for specialties like Bugun Liocichla etc. Later have breakfast at camp & drive to Bompu camp. Full day Enroute birding , Evening check in Bompu camp. O/N tents.

Full day birding in lower areas of Bompu camp, this day we will cover areas till Sessni. O/N Bompu camp.

Full day birding in area above Bompu camp, this day we will cover areas till Sunderview & Eaglenest pass. O/N Tents.

Early morning birding around Lama camp , after breakfast drive to Nameri enroute birding at Sessa orchid sanctuary. Early evening check in Nameri resort. O/N Resort.

Early morning take rafting trip , enroute birding , later half day birding trip at Nameri. post lunch drive for 4-5 hrs to Guwahati. O/N hotel.

Morning visit dump yard & Deepor Bheel , Later transfer to Airport / Train station. END OF TRIP.
